I have been training in the sport since the age of 5, which has given me a great passion to enjoy the art of karate. I have travelled around the world at a young and tender age, representing my country at various tournaments and setting first-place positions for both Kata and Kumite (Fighting).
I have attained my South African and Natal Colours for Kumite — the highest one can achieve in a karate career. I have since taken the art to the next level by opening my own Dojos, welcoming children from as young as 3 years old. I absolutely enjoy imparting my skills to the younger generation, empowering them with social and self-defence benefits.
Karate is not just a sport — it is a life skill that builds confidence, discipline and character from the inside out.
Our mission is to provide a Dojo where students can learn the art of karate while building meaningful social connections on common ground. Learning and teaching become exciting for both student and instructor as knowledge becomes a stepping stone to improved self-confidence within the family and community.
Students will leave the Dojo equipped with a lifetime of experience and the high discipline that only martial arts can provide.
Legions Karate currently operates across 11 locations throughout the greater Durban and Umhlanga area, bringing world-class instruction directly into schools and community centres.
